ABOUT

Max was put in the garage for over 2 years when his previous owners decided to buy a pure-bred puppy. Recently, the owners lost their house and had to move into an apartment, where they were allowed to have only one dog. Max was then kept in the trunk of the car for 5 and a half months before going to the rescue.

Max has been through a lot and as the result, he does need help building up his confidence but he's a very sweet little guy. He gets along well with dogs, cats and kids. He does enjoy running in and out the house and around the yard, and will also chill out cuddling up to you when everyone is settled down.

Age: 4 years old.

Breed: Terrier mix. Mom is unknown. Dad, Charlie, is a Chihuahua, who is also available for adoption through Celestial Zoo. Charlie is 7 years old and being fostered with a different family. He was also kept in the crate and the trunk with Max before they were rescued.

Health: Max is up to dates on all vaccinations and is neutered.

Crate-trained: yes

Temperament: sweet and friendly, medium-energy

Ideal Family: Max would love to be with a semi-active family who has a fenced in yard to run around.
